Comment: Arrived at Norfolk Hotel in Nairobi at 5 AM. We were tired but excited.

DSC_0012 * We will come to know Tusker well.. major brand of beer available in Kenya. We were told that Tusker was the name of the elephant that killed one of the breweries founders. We speculate that the elephant was probably drunk at the time. * 2000 x 3008 * (3.01MB)

DSC_0013 * Norfolk Hotel Patio. We later came to learn that in around 1980, this very hotel that was bombed by islamic fundamentalists injuring 100+ western tourists. I guess after 25 years, nothing has changed. * 2000 x 3008 * (3.17MB)
