Hills of Hayward

A few weeks ago, Anders started to follow everyone actually “singing” in the library class. Today, when he listened to a group of children singing for Xmas at Starbucks, he started the only Xmas song that he knew, “Jingle bells, jingle bells, jungle all the way! ….” Well, that’s as far as he can go. Of course, the tune was not accurate but we could tell that he was singing. It was a surprising progress.

I’ve sung “兩隻老虎” (two tigers) to him since he was born. Every time when he was crying, he would break the tears and laugh when he heard of this song. It was a magic song to him during the days when he was still a little baby.

This was a small Christmas tree I bought in the year Anders was born. I didn’t put it out last year since Anders was at the time of crawling and putting everything into his mouth. This year, Arden is not crawling yet, well, at least not crawling forward; and Anders is old enough to enjoy having a shining tree. I decided to decorate the Christmas tree again. It was fun.

自從寶寶開始真正會講話以後, 就嘰哩咕嚕地重複我們講的每句話, 其實他大部分的時候是不懂其中涵義的. 可是最近開始要不就冒驚人之語, 要不就讓人哭笑不得. 看看下面的例子吧!

“好可憐” –
有一天下午太陽快下山了, 阿方(褓姆)對寶寶說, “寶寶呀, 你去把窗簾拉開吧!” 誰知道寶寶竟然回答說, “寶寶好可憐!”(要替阿姨做事)

“修理修理” –
有的時候寶寶的小雞雞碰到褲子不舒服, 就會一直叫, “雞雞碰到了! 雞雞碰到了!” 今天下午大概又弄到了吧, 他卻叫著, “阿姨, 修理修理小雞雞…”

管家公 –
妹妹剛生出來的時候, 寶寶還不太懂什麼是妹妹, 什麼是哥哥. 現在妹妹已經8個月大了, 寶寶也很習慣有妹妹在身旁一起玩耍, 不常再吃醋了. 可是很明顯的一個現象開始出現, 寶寶開始很”我是大哥哥”的樣子. 一天到晚叫妹妹要這樣, 或不可以那樣, 聽! 這是寶寶和妹妹很典型的一段對話 — 妹妹大叫大叫的要人過來, 寶寶跑過去對著妹妹說, “壞蛋妹妹, 哥哥叫妹妹 no no 講話(大叫)” ….#%^@$

Harrison 今天又因為肚子餓而亂發脾氣，這已經是見怪不怪的老問題了，但還是頗讓人生氣的。

酒足飯飽後，我們的爸爸又恢復了好心情，跑過來給寶寶，妹妹和媽咪都各一個親親，媽媽雖然已經氣消了，但故意裝生氣地說，“媽咪不愛爸爸！” 哈！寶寶居然馬上給媽咪幫腔，對爸爸說，“爸爸有一點問題。。。”

嘻嘻！真是媽咪的乖兒子！
