Scarecrow and Ghost

Filed under: Baby Anders, Baby Arden, Random Thoughts — christine at 10:13 pm on Sunday, September 27, 2009

It was a really hot day yesterday. The temperature reached 100 degree. We decided to go out to the mall to get some air conditioning. Halloween is close so there was a big custom store in the Mowry Mall. Anders was scared by a scarecrow next to Santa Ramen a couple weeks ago and now he was afraid of all the “ghosts” in the store again.

Last night, we “leveraged” his fear of the ghosts to ask him finishing his milk before going to bed. He was very tired and sleepy today. The arms of his holding the bottle went lower and lower with his eyes already closed but he didn’t want to give up the bottle. As long as we pulled the bottle out of his mouth, he cried to ask for finishing it. Guess what!? He was worried that the ghost would come!

You can see how scared he was. :)

On the other hand, Arden was so interested in watching the moving ghost and not scared at all.

poor Anders! but it’s great having leverage I bet. Just imagine when he’s in school and his fellow classmates bumps into those video on youtube. It would be 10000000000 times worst!

Haha.. good point Cass. Hopefully he has the grace and maturity to handle the inevitable assholes of the world. If not, I will need to take the blog down.
