Little Uncle invited Christine and I over to his place for a Chinese New Year’s get-together at his home with my maternal grandmother and grandfather. Amazingly, my paternal Grandma Hung also arrived this afternoon in San Jose. She had a half-day layover in the bay area before flying back to Taiwan at midnight.
Finally got around to posting our photos from our Christmas Vacation trip. The trip started rather EVENTFULLY when neither Christine nor I remembered that BC was in Canada, and therefore our passports are required. Luckily, we were able to reschedule our flights for later that day.

I guess it shouldn’t surprise us that 100+ million Japanese on a natural-resource scarce islands have incredible amounts of ingenuity.
Came across an interesting company, Tokyo Flash, that sells innovative watches that make telling somebody the time fun again. It is like MOMA on your wrist.
